Transforming Luxury Skincare

Ytsara was launched over two years ago with a completely different brand identity, design and production team, but the reception was underwhelming.

I have been working to redesign the entire brand, including the identity, retail and professional packaging, as well as corporate and marketing collateral.

Emergency Prototyping

Starting with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary site, Mount Sinai was looking to modernize the look and feel and user experience of their entire online health system.

In a little under two weeks, given little time to familiarize myself with their branding and initiatives, I created a responsive, fully functional prototype for the default home and Patient Care screens.

The 3-Day Makeover

Story Worldwide needed a rush app design to present to RCI, a luxury resorts and vacations exchange site.

Armed with a barebones wireframe, I whipped up this iPad app design in 20 hours.

Click and Mortar

Ranger Mechanical approached me to do a rush landing page for this newly-established SDVOSB small business.

I designed and developed this landing page for WordPress integration in record time and on a shoestring budget.

Giving Finance A Facelift

Forethought Financial Group wanted a fresh new look to coincide with the expansion of their annuity product offerings. They also needed to reconsider the existing site's content not only for better usability but also to serve a variety of devices.

The client chose my design scheme for this responsive makeover, and I was also responsible for the UI and UX.

Hit the Tarmac Flying

Routehappy is a startup that combines user reviews with granular data from the airline industry to formulate a better travel experience.

My first official foray into the world of UGC and Agile, I was brought on board between the Alpha and Beta phases of development to make design enhancements.

Branding Wanderlust

Formerly known as Spatality, GOCO is a luxury global hospitality consultancy based out of Thailand. I was initially enlisted for the website, but ended up creating the logo as well.

We went through many variations from calligraphic to ornamental before settling on concentric simplicity.

Extending Reconstruction

Constructive Hair is the business of Seiji Uehara, a New York City-based hair stylist who specializes in hair extensions.

Inspired by Seiji's penchant for the jazz music of the 50s and 60s, I took cues from the graphic design of that era and used color theming to visually convey site navigation.

99 Bottles of Beer

Heineken was gearing up for the following summer starting with a series of nation-wide outdoor concerts, as well as rolling out the "Dam Good Bier" campaign for Amstel Light.

I came up with a series of designs that felt fresh and youthful while adhering to the new Heineken global brand standards.

Marshaling The Soup Wars

I art-directed Campbell's Soup Company Help Grow Your Soup 2010 campaign to restore landmark barns across America.

The Help Grow Your Soup website refresh remained active from 2010 through 4Q 2012, raising over $250,000 towards supporting the National FFA and the preservation and restoration of 5 historic barns and surrounding farmland.

Sensory Abduction

In the summer of 2007, KOOL International (RJ Reynolds) was preparing to launch a new line of menthol cigarettes which contained various threads and bursting capsules of flavor inside the filters.

I integrated brand elements and iconography with a new visual vocabulary to convey being taken by synesthesia.

Gotham Girls, Interpreted

This side project was inspired by Russian Cold War era propaganda posters and an idea to mix up this vibe with the “We Can Do It!” American wartime campaign.

I created these designs from video stills of the actual derbies and distressed them for that slightly misregistered silkscreen look.

Reflecting the Music Within

One of the things that inspired me to choose graphic design as my major was the record label 4AD—a marriage of experimental music and equally exquisite design.

I created compact disc packaging for my own personal use because I didn't feel the existing artwork reflected the music within.

Niche Hospitality

Along with the brand identity which was driven by the look of the new website, I was also responsible for the design and development of the entire website.

This included mapping out the IA, designing the UI, prototyping the UX and front-end coding the whole shebang.
